NATA’s Hit the Hill Day 2012
NATA’s annual “Hit the Hill” day is approaching fast. PLEASE CONSIDER ATTENDING THIS EVENT!! I know it can be inconvenient, but it’s important that we show a presence on Capitol Hill. The future of our profession rests significantly on our ability to be well recognized and attain proper rights within the law.
This year, it will be held on Thursday, February 23rd and Friday, February 24th. Attendees must register in advance (even though there is no registration fee) by January 16th 2012. You can register at https://www.grires.com/nnatashowec11.asp?att=Attendee
The official hotel for the event is the Hyatt Regency Washington on Capital Hill – 400 New Jersey Ave, NW, Washington DC 20001. NATA has reserved rooms at this hotel. You can reserve rooms when you register (using the same link given above, click on “Register & Reserve Housing”)
NYSATA does offer some monetary support to help its members who attend through stipends. To apply for this voucher, contact David Brynes (dbyrnes@yorktown.org) after the event. You will need to provide receipts.
