AT Recognition Week 2019

September 13-22, 2019

Happy fall sports to all NYSATA members! Our annual fall "Athletic Training Recognition Week" is almost here!

We have several new contests planned, with new prizes as well, to help make the week a little more exciting and special. We will also be participating in the Brain Injury Association of New York State’s (BIANYS) annual March on for Brain Injury on September 14. This will be a great opportunity to educate the public about our role in recognizing, treating, and rehabbing concussions.

We will have AT Recognition Week PSAs to use during home sporting events, as well as a formal letter you can provide to your athletic director &/or other school official(s) to help them understand the importance of this event in promoting sports safety.

Information on contests, prizes, PSAs, and formal letters are at the bottom of this page as PDFs.

Please share anything special your school does to celebrate NY AT Week with us so we can help promote your efforts (press releases, website, newsletters, NATA news, etc). Letters, articles, pictures can be emailed to NYSATAPr2@gmail.com and to your regional rep.

Thank you in advance for your efforts to make this year a success!

The mission of the New York State Athletic Trainers’ Association shall be to advance, encourage, and improve the profession of athletic training by developing the common interests of its membership for the purpose of enhancing the quality of health care for the physically active in New York State.
